Andrew Poh
Pastor
My name is Andrew Poh and it is one of my greatest joys in life to pastor this church. I grew up in rural Northeast Wisconsin, but came to Northern Nevada as soon as I could! I married Jarré, a Sparks native, in 2009 and God has given us four energetic children. I love hiking in the Sierra Nevada’s, fishing trout streams, and hunting deer and elk. Above all, I desire to love, trust and obey Jesus in ever-increasing ways and to lead others to do the same.

Roy Dorado

I’m a 20 year Reno resident with over 30 years as a technology business leader. My walk with our Lord began about the age of 8 with the parable of the faith of a mustard seed. Although I wanted to have that kind of faith and did “my best” to walk the path, I struggled. It was years before I truly turned it all over to Him. In that moment, my life was transformed. I live, work and play with Jesus at the center of it all and every day is a blessing. I believe in prayer, witnessing and servant leadership. We have an amazing church body that is warm, welcoming and endeavors to love, trust and obey Jesus in ever increasing ways. Please join us this Sunday.
James Greenwood

My name is James Greenwood. I was blessed to be raised by godly parents who prioritized their relationship with God and lived out their faith as an example to me and my ten siblings. I was thirteen when God convicted me that I was in need of a Savior, and He saved me! My wife Lydia and I have been attending Calvary Baptist Church since 2019. I have lived in Northern California my whole life, and Lydia moved from Northern Minnesota when we married in 2016. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, off-roading, camping, road tripping, and most of all, anything that involves spending time with my wife! I hope you will come for a visit, and I look forward to meeting you!
Randy Liedkie

My Name is Randy Liedkie. I was raised in Eastern Washington and moved to Nevada in 1986. My wife Bettie Mae and I began attending Calvary Baptist Church at that time. We have four adult children. When I'm not working I enjoy hunting, hiking and woodworking. I am passionate about Jesus and my church and have been involved in leadership for much of the time I have attended.
John Strunk

My name is John Strunk. I came to the Lord, by His grace, in 1973. The young man He used to witness and then disciple me was attending Chuck Smith's church in Orange County California at the time. After a year of being discipled and having seen my young wife Brenda confess Christ as Lord also, we began our long journey of life under Christ's Lordship. We have been allowed to serve in many capacities such as teaching and leading in different settings. We started out in a small Baptist church and hope to end our days doing the same here at Calvary Baptist. Please come join us on Sunday and hear of the saving work of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
