AWANA is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for three-year-olds through high schoolers. The acrostic AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15).

AWANA is held most Wednesdays during the school year. CALENDAR

  • Check in is at 5:45 PM.
  • Opening Ceremonies start at 6:00.
  • AWANA will be dismissed at 7:30.

The evening is divided into the following sections.

  • Large Group Time
  • Handbook time
  • Game time
  • Award time

  • Cubbies - AGES 3 TO 5
  • Sparks - Kindergarten through Second Grade.
  • Truth & Training Club 3rd through 6th grade.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

J Grand Prix: A pinewood derby for all Cubbies through Leaders. Cars on display.

J AWANA Bible Quiz: A fun team competition with other local AWANA clubs on handbook material. (3rd through 6th grade)

J AWANA Games: A fun team "game" competition with other local for al T&T clubbers who have completed at least 10 handbook sections.

J AWANA Sparks-A-Rama: A fun team "game" competition with other clubs for all Sparks clubbers who have completed at least 10 handbook sections.

J DRIVE-IN MOVIE Night: Design the coolest cars and trucks to watch the movie and eat your popcorn in. Example cars.

J AWARDS Night: The last club night of the year where we recognize the accomplishments of each boy and girl.

J Sparks Camp: A 1-day "Day" camp filled with all the activities Sparks have come to enjoy during regular club time.

J Scholarship Camp: A super 7 day camp for all 5th through 12th grade clubbers who have completed at least two handbooks.
